Mount Seir belongs to Esau!
From time to time we get so enamored with another person’s possessions that we hanker after what she / he has. Instead of moving towards our final goal, we allow ourselves to get distracted. If God has promised the land of Canaan to Israel, the Lord has something else in store for his brother Esau and his descendents. This is the situation of the children of Israel when they moved through Mount Seir.
Once again God had to tell them to get going and not to hang around. He makes it abundantly clear that this Mount belongs to Esau and that God is not going to give them even one square foot of land there.
So stop coveting what others have. God has something special for you!
