Day 43*: Where art thou?

  (credit: Varsha Salome)

Even as you hit the fast lane of life with furious strides that brook no brakes, won’t you pause a moment to grab a grain of scriptural truth embedded herein?

No obligations! You are ofcourse perfectly at liberty to skip these Readings altogether. Should that be your choice,  go ahead – save 30 seconds!

God bless

Where art thou?

This is the very first rhetorical question in the history of mankind. God wasn’t looking for information about the physical whereabouts of Adam and Eve. Being omniscient, He already knew that. The question is raised more to trigger introspection on the part of the first humans about the condition of their heart.

We too will do well to pose this question to ourselves every now and then. It may well be that we are sleeping in the ship sailing to Tarshish à la Jonah, instead of heading to Nineveh as directed by God.

Do a reality check. Now!
