Even if He doesn’t deliver us….
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had no hesitation in picking up the gauntlet thrown by king Nebuchadnezzar. “What god” crowed he “will be able to rescue you from my power?”; that is in the event that the threesome refused to worship the golden image he had setup and in consequence were thrown into the fiery furnace.
Pat came the response:”the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand “. Not wanting to presume God’s will in the matter, they had the courage to add that even if they weren’t delivered, they would not bow.
They stood true. Would you do the same?
