Knowledge puffeth up!
The wisest person on earth ever, the man who wrote 3000 proverbs and spoke about plant life, animals, birds, reptiles and fish avers that “of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body”. If Solomon focuses on the physical effects of relentlessly acquiring knowledge, Paul from Dr.Gamaliel’s school draws our attention to the attitudinal issues!
True, it won’t do to sail through life as illiterates and ignoramuses, but on the other hand there is little good in lengthening the string of one’s degrees.
Enough is enough!
