I’m calling Cyrus
The sovereignty of God is all surpassing. In the outworking of His plans and purposes He is not limited to using just those who recognize Him. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it”. And time and again we see Him employing non-Israelites and gentiles to fulfill His mission.
Thus it is that He makes Cyrus His ally in teaching Babylon a lesson. With God, just anybody can be a cat’s paw!
Some of God’s instruments may be unconventional.
