Patient or powerful?
This should be a no brainer. Powerful of course! Wrong. According to Solomon, the answer is ‘patient’. He goes further:”He who rules his spirit is better than he who captures a city“. Do we generally let our emotions fly subject to every whim and fancy of our heart as it responds to buffeting in the market place? Or do we exercise control?
God has given us a”sound mind”. Let us put it to good use with some clever control mechanisms rather than leave it to drift rudderless.
Mind control!
