Extraordinary inversion
I was struck by verses 13 and 31 of the 8th chapter of Exodus in KJV and NKJV. Was I reading them right? “The Lord did according to the word of Moses”. Don’t you think the usual order used to describe good kings of Judah and Israel is stood on its head in this rendition? Moses emerges as the prime mover here. Hmm…such was the relationship that Moses had with God.Close…very close!
When you are engaged in a God directed mission as Moses was, and you are in constant communion with Him, sometimes it is difficult to tell who is in the driver’s seat!
