A thankless job!
Some times we lament that the work we do for God is thankless. With little by way of remuneration and much by way of responsibility, we begin to wonder if we couldn’t be better employed elsewhere. The idea that we are chosen specially to be God’s servants somehow begins to lose its sheen. We become disenchanted, dispirited.
It is at times like these that we will do well to remember that God is not distant and aloof, uncaring, unconcerned ,why even indifferent to our exertions. He is indeed an ever present help.
“I will never leave you nor forsake you”
