Righteous, anyone?
“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” says Paul writing to the Romans. In the same book we also find assertions that say “All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one….There is none righteous, no, not one”. Several times we see the same charge, elsewhere in the Bible too. It is in such a milieu that prophet Ezekiel speaks on behalf of God.
But thank God” there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus … ” “his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness upheld him”.
“Put on the Lord Jesus Christ”, He is our righteousness!
