Eve…. an afterthought?
Reading Genesis 2:18, it is easy to come to the conclusion that the “woman” was an afterthought; that she was never in the initial plan of God. But if we go back to chapter 1, there we read God’s intention to make human beings male and female; subsequently He blesses them to: “be fruitful and multiply”.
If you are still debating the issue in your mind, consider the fact that when God made Adam, he was only one half, needing another to become a fully fitted whole unit!
