Saul skedaddled
This is funny. Samuel gathers all Israel at Mizpah before the Lord in order to publicly proclaim Saul the first king. Lot by lot the choice narrows down to Saul but when his name was read out, the guy was missing. A mighty fine act by the anointed king!
Then they had to ask the Lord where he was. You cannot of course run away from God. He knows exactly where you are each moment.
Don’t run away from responsibility!
