Keep cool, man!

According to the book of Proverbs, wisdom seldom resides in a hothead. The same book is extremely pejorative on the prattling or prating fool who loves to hear his own voice as he chatters on about his ideas, his opinions, his experience, the temperature incrementally rising to fever pitch as he puts others down. In fact it goes to the extent of saying that even fools are counted wise and intelligent when they keep their mouth shut.

How are we using our words? Do we get carried away by the fluency of our own peroration?

Are our words balanced by the ballast of thought?
