Far beyond what we think or imagine!
Ruth’s future was bleak . Husband dead, children never born, compatriot sister-in-law gone home, mother-in-law under depression – she didn’t have a glorious future to look foreword to as she clung to Naomi’s God and set out on a long walk with her from Moab to Bethlehem.
But God had plans for her! It would never have crossed anybody’s mind at that moment that this foreigner would find a mention in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.
God specializes in impossible denouements!
