How did you like the husk, son?

This is surely the nadir in the life of the prodigal son – all money gone, friends vamoosed, famine in the land and no food to eat. The party is well and truly over. Tormented by hunger pangs, he longed for swine feed – the husk. It is at that point that he comes to his senses.

What does it take to bring us back to God? Are we seeking that which will not satisfy us?

There is a place for us at the banquet!
