Fly in the ointment!
We know of at least one U.S. President in our times who was all but consumed by impeachment proceedings against him and all the monstrous negative publicity that is attendant – all because he allowed himself to be overcome by illicit sexual passion. And how many sports persons – notably in the fields of cycling and athletics – have had their titles revoked in sad comeuppance after discovery that their performance was aided by banned substances.
Are we guilty of harbouring pet foibles or worse, that threaten to surface much to our dismay and destroy all the hard won reputation over the years? Ask the Preacher, he’s been there, done that and even wrote about it.
