Formula for fruitfulness!
Fertility clinics do pretty well these days with the problem of childlessness being widespread, owing to a variety of reasons. Hannah – bless her soul – was as good as her word and had dedicated her first born Samuel for service to the Lord. The situation at home then was back to square one, I imagine, with Peninnah resuming her taunting ways. But you can bet your bottom dollar that God will not forget Hannah’s faithfulness.
However much Hannah was favoured over Peninnah as his sleeping partner by Elkanah, it needed the Lord’s visitation, for Hannah to produce a string of children.
Apply this formula in every endeavour!
