It is high time to awake!

Paul thought so when writing to the Romans in first century A.D. and it is one of those messages that applies even now. This is in sharp contrast to the Preacher’s lamentation that “what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun”. The Preacher of course shows no urgency as he goes in a sinusoidal motion as his mood changes; rather than sail with him, we will do well to heed Paul’s dictum.

Yes, “let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.”

“Put on the Lord Jesus Christ”
