Peter’s laboured political correctness!

I don’t think Peter and Paul were friends; fellow apostles – yes, co-workers-yes, but pals- no. Paul criticizes Peter openly for hypocritical behaviour. And Peter takes it out on Paul with dissembling euphemism – “beloved brother Paul” and “according to the wisdom that God gave him“. I imagine he actually wanted to use words like “that fellow Paul also has written some inscrutable stuff over and over again, according to his limited knowledge”

What is our relationship with fellow Christians? Bare tolerance or true brotherly love?

“Let love be genuine”
