Ministering with music!
There are people who do not think much of music as ministry. Once I was laughed out of court for mentioning that I sing unto the Lord. I do find it strange that those well acquainted with the Word should display such nescience. Indeed it is quite impossible to peruse the book of Psalms without developing a healthy respect for music. And how many are the hymns of yore that comfort, convert and call us to a closer relationship with God!
And Jehoshaphat even won a battle with the choir marching ahead of his army! Let us not belittle this important avenue of service.
“Sing unto the Lord a new song!”
