A fresh start!
There are many who would wish to start all over again, having squandered half the year! And God in His mercy grants us an opportunity for just that, through the second half of the year that stretches ahead. Imagine about 180 odd days that have not been sullied by our obstinacy, idiocy, asininity or mutiny towards God; days not yet stained by our pride, superciliousness, implacability or inflated ego towards man. Some of us might want to redeem our image, some may want to rectify our character and some may be in need of repentance and a right-about-turn.
Remember the Bible personae like Zaccheus, Peter and Paul. Those guys faced the very same issues in their life time. And in each case an encounter with Jesus was the answer!
