Even as you hit the fast lane of life with furious strides that brook no brakes, won’t you pause a moment to grab a grain of scriptural truth embedded herein ? (click on hypertext in the Day’s Reading for reference verse)

No obligations! You are of course perfectly at liberty to skip these Readings altogether. Should that be your choice,  go ahead – save 30 seconds!

Don’t jump to conclusions

All issues may not quite be open or shut, white or black, though at first glance no doubts may arise. Quite often there is a grey area that surfaces slowly. Things may not in actuality be what they appear to be. And if you are the type who readily jumps to conclusions on the basis of available information rather than carry out a thorough investigation, there might result a miscarriage of justice. *

It is good to keep in mind king Solomon’s writing on the subject: ” In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.’

Be a good judge!
