Receive, reflect!

Prophet Ezekiel was forever receiving messages from God, mostly in dreams and visions. Though the sights he saw in many cases were outlandish, they were vivid. Here we see him receiving specific instructions. Yes, if we would only open our senses fully, we will perceive that our God is orderly, as the subsequent verses show. He does everything in measure. He is not random, arbitrary or impulsive.

May we employ our eyes to see His glory, our ears to hear the Seraphim cry Holy, Holy, Holy and absorb in our mind the wonder of His work. And use our mouths to declare the splendour of His excellency.

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD”!
