Even as you hit the fast lane of life with furious strides that brook no brakes, won’t you pause a moment to grab a grain of scriptural truth embedded herein ? (click on hypertext in the Day’s Reading for reference verse)
No obligations! You are of course perfectly at liberty to skip these Readings altogether. Should that be your choice, go ahead – save 30 seconds!
God bless!

Will you last the distance?
If you put Bolt (I forget his first name, is it Thunder?) together with Eliud Kipchoge and ask them to run the Marathon, the result would be predictable. Bolt may be the fastest man on the planet, but no Sir, he simply will not last the course. He will get tired, weary; he just cannot endure the distance. Eliud on the other hand may not take off like a gazelle, but he will keep on going like a well oiled machine, all cylinders firing!
So rather than Bolt, it is Eliud who would exemplify those that wait upon the Lord. Will you still keep running when all the rest in the race fall back?
“The race is not to the swiftest.”
