Even as you hit the fast lane of life with furious strides that brook no brakes, won’t you pause a moment to grab a grain of scriptural truth embedded herein ? (click on hypertext in the Day’s Reading for reference verse)

No obligations! You are of course perfectly at liberty to skip these Readings altogether. Should that be your choice, go ahead – save 30 seconds!

                          Baby, say “Thank You”!

One of the nice things we teach little children is to say “thank you” when receiving gifts. When they grow into adulthood however, some of them jettison this spirit of gratitude in favour of a right of entitlement. But David was different. He recognized that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above”. We can see in the gospel according to St.Luke, that Jesus recognized the act of thanksgiving on the part of one of the ten lepers cleansed by Him.

Does our heart overflow with gratitude for all that the Lord has done in our lives? Are we ready to sing with Andrea Crouch ” How can I say thanks for the things You have done for me?”

“Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits”
