I heard you!
The children of Israel couldn’t quite get over the fact that they heard the voice of God! But smitten with a feeling of their own unworthiness, they wanted none of it in future. They’d rather God spoke to Moses and Moses in turn speak to them; they said all of this only to Moses, but guess what, God was listening to what the people said to Moses! OMG! A bit scary, what?
Usually a rebellious and recalcitrant lot, in this instance the people were speaking sense. God acknowledges that, why He even appreciates their point of view! Phew!!
Now, isn’t that wonderful!
