How much to heaven?

Down the ages there has been this thinking that if you have a lot of money, you will somehow make it. This is largely true as regards life on earth; although some people will argue that health comes first. But money can’t buy eternal life. The church as an institution, tried selling salvation as it were, before Martin Luther symbolically nailed the scheme to the doors of the Wittenberg Castle church. Sadly, in some cultures, money power still gets you to the top of the line for a priority viewing of ‘god’ but that’s about it.

The truth is you can’t go to heaven either in an ‘old Ford car’ or in a brand-new Tesla. The Bible is quite clear that you are saved by grace through faith.

“Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?”
