Don’t Meddle with Necho!
Some godly people see demons everywhere. They are guided solely by the principle that whoever is not with us, is against us. They assume that anybody passing by could be a messenger from satan; they go against that person hammer and tongs. This was the problem with Josiah, king of Judah.
Necho, king of Egypt was going to take on some other nation, but Josiah feels he ought to oppose him. Necho infact , makes it clear that God was with him and cautions Josiah, but the latter doesn’t listen, resulting in his needless death at the hands of Necho.
However close to God we may be, it is dangerous to think that we are the cat’s whiskers! He can work through others too, you know.
Don’t meddle with Necho, leave well alone!
