Call the Queen Mother!
The importance of knowing history cannot be overstated. This is what King Belshazzar learned when he was troubled by the ‘writing on the wall‘. The Queen Mother came in and told him where he can go for the interpretation; his father – Nebuchadnezzar – had faced a similar issue. At that time, Daniel was found to have insight, understanding and wisdom – like that of the gods!
Though the Queen is never mentioned during Nebuchadnezzar’s eventful reign, she was quietly following Daniel’s role in her husband’s life.
