  (credit: Varsha Salome)

Even as you hit the fast lane of life with furious strides that brook no brakes, won’t you pause a moment to grab a grain of scriptural truth embedded herein ? (click on hypertext in the Day’s Reading for reference verse)

No obligations! You are of course perfectly at liberty to skip these Readings altogether. Should that be your choice, go ahead – save 30 seconds!

God bless!

Euphony or cacophony?

It is interesting how God links the quality of your singing to the character of your living. Justice and righteousness are more important to God than praise and “worship”. We will do well to do a self-examination before we go to the altar to sing. If our goal is to merely please men, by all means concentrate on the elements of good singing such as the tone, pitch, dynamics, enunciation, breath control etc.

But if you aim to reach God’s ears and to glorify Him, that won’t do. If your life doesn’t match up, the best of your singing is but a “noise” God could well do without!

Cut down the noise!
