Water at a wedding banquet?

It is typical of Jesus. He didn’t rush forward to disabuse the impression of the banquet manager that it was the bridegroom who saved the best wine till the last. Bless her soul, Mary didn’t do that either. Why, even the disciples who were privy to the whole sequence of events, held their peace. I suspect Mary experienced a quiet gratification, but it was a different story with the disciples – and the servants. They were dumb struck!

The bridegroom – poor sod – didn’t have a clue as to what the BM was talking about.

Is there a problem? Just tell Jesus. He knows when to act.
