Eternal Queen?
The problem with Babylon was that it was “living at ease and feeling secure” – a description that would have fitted many a nation and people group prior to the onset of Covid-19. As the Bible says in regard to such people, they were oppressive and merciless and had no qualms proclaiming ” I will reign forever as queen of the world”. They did not reflect on their actions or think about the consequences”
It is not as though these people were ignorant. Puffed up by pride and full of themselves, they forgot there is a higher Power.
