Schism in the body?

There can be no better way of illustrating the variegated nature of individuals in the church than to describe them as different parts of the body of Christ. Paul does this brilliantly in his epistle to the Corinthians. He writes “The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!””

Arguing in this vein, he presses for unity and harmonious functioning in the church.

Where do you belong?
