Straining at the oars?

 

The journey of life is never easy. We may be watched over by Jesus, but that doesn’t exempt us from the difficult task of battling against the winds. Yes, often times He allows us to struggle with our own strength before “climbing into the boat Himself, at which point the wind dies down”.

He is Lord. There’s nothing like getting Him on board “When each moment so madly is threatening, a grave in the angry deep”.
