Sarah laughed to herself
When the Lord makes a promise you’d better take it seriously. This is where Sarah erred. In her human balance, her husband’s age, her age, and her post menopausal status together weighed heavily against the Word of God. But the Word of God is not only powerful but is also a “discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. Sarah got caught.
God is certainly able to perform what He promises.
When God speaks, it is no joke, and don’t laugh – even to yourself!
