He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh!

This is a rare instance of God laughing found in the Bible. There are several places where you can read of God being pleased by our acts of obedience to His word; but what prompts His laughter is mortal man’s gross underestimation of His surpassing greatness. It is therefore  a laugh of derision, why it’s a laugh of disdain at the puny manipulations and petty machinations of nations rising up against His majesty.

Once we have captured a glimpse of His ineffable glory, we realize what a waste of time it is to plot against Him.

“How great thou art”!
