Open your mouth wide!
This appears to be a plaintive cry by God disheartened by Israel’s wayward behaviour. Sadly this is not an one off instance. Time and again Israel is quick to forget their extraordinary escape from Egypt and the wonderful way in which God marched them through the wilderness . Obviously God is disappointed.
God is standing ready to satisfy our deepest yearning, if only we would look to Him and forsake strange gods.
“Ask and you will receive”!
