What about him, Lord?
This is a question that the best of us cannot repress. Once there is a revelation about yourself, you want to know what is going to happen to the other person. This is not a question that springs from care, worry or anxiety. Methinks it comes more from a competitive mindset that desperately hopes that the other guy falls behind.
Jesus’s answer to this inquisitive question is classic in its content and tenor:”What is that to you?”
