Anant Ambani and fiancee Radhika Merchant, the youngest son of RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani are set to have their second pre-wedding celebration. This grand event is slated to take place on a luxurious cruise ship sailing from Italy to France.
Known for their extravagant lifestyle, the Ambanis are leaving no stone unturned to make this celebration a memorable one for the couple. The event will host 800 guests, featuring high-profile attendees like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.
Mukesh Ambani and his wife Mrs Nita Ambani, are known for their elaborate celebrations. They are doing everything possible to ensure their son’s pre-wedding festivities are unforgettable. The cruise celebration will be an opulent affair, with a distance of 2365 nautical miles (4380 km) covered between May 28 and May 30, 2024. The cruise will depart from Italy and reach its final destination in Southern France, offering a lavish experience for all guests.
The couple’s first pre-wedding event took place in Jamnagar from March 1 to 3, 2024. This event was a grand soiree filled with pomp and show, which the Ambani family is known for. The finale of this three-day-long pre-wedding festivities included a themed celebration called “Hastakshar-The Valley of Gods,” where Anant and Radhika signed their pact for life in front of a huge Ganpati idol, guided by a priest.
Radhika Merchant shared their love story in an interview with Vogue. She mentioned that she and Anant were introduced by mutual friends during a drive in 2017. Their first meeting sparked something special, and they soon started dating. Anant proposed to Radhika for marriage at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, in 2023. The proposal was followed by a Goldhana ceremony and a surprise engagement party at Antilia, the Ambani residence.
This second pre-wedding celebration on the cruise ship will see a staff of 600 catering to the elite guests’ needs, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience.
